Dennis L. Martire: From Union Member to Influential LIUNA Leader

Path of Dennis L. Martire to becoming a key figure within the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) began with his education at West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree focused on government. In 1990, Martire embarked on his professional journey with LIUNA, initially serving as an international representative. At the time, he was already a committed member of his local union chapter, Local Union #1058, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
